Thank You Notes on Reflection of Light Promo

Dusit Thani Manila Hotel General Manager Prateek Kumar awarded the check to Aficionado Germany Perfume President/CEO  Joel Cruz which he handed over to his chosen charity Hospicio de San Jose Representatives Sister Cristina Valdez and Sister Alice Aycocho on December 28, 2011. Each of the participating family showcase their creativity and passion to help our brethren through this Christmas Tree Project. Reflection of Light is the theme of the Joel Cruz Christmas Tree made with glass cube bases and using recycled perfume bottles of different shapes and sizes both clear and frosted. Its sparkling blue LED lights plus an illusion of infinity with silver candelabras as accent added on the base. The main inspirations are related to the advocacy of caring for the environment, maintaining the Filipino values and convey the social responsibility through Hospicio De San Jose as its chosen charity. The Cruz Family Christmas Tree won the Dusit Thani Manila Christmas Tree Competition which runs from Nov. 16-Dec. 26, 2011. Below is an open letter from Cruz Family.

Greetings to you all!

On behalf of Cruz Family, we would like to thank you and express our deep appreciation for each supporter’s time, “likes” on Facebook and ballot votes to the Joel Cruz Family Christmas Tree for charity at Dusit Thani Manila Hotel. Your efforts made us bag the first place worth of P200,000 cash prize.

This is indeed a timely blessing for Sister Socorro Evidente, Administrator of Hospicio de San Jose and other sisters of the Congregation are currently in Cagayan de Oro to assist the victims of “Sendong”. The funds will go a long way continuing with their mission to care for abandoned children and elderly in this challenging time of disaster.

This undertaking is truly an expression of your caring and spreading the Christmas cheers while upholding the values and spirit of “bayanihan”.
